Conversion Tracking allows you to track the source of your customers, using Google Analytics or other software.
Google Analytics support is built in to Store. Simply enable this setting, and javascript will be placed on the order summary page to notify Google Analytics that a sale has taken place. To avoid duplicate reporting of sales, this javascirpt will only be displayed once per order (even if the customer views their invoice at a later date).
If you are using AdWords, or other analytics software, you can enter your own tracking code. You can also use standard order variables here, such as {order_total_val}
, to dynamically include the total value of the order.
